Websites to Buy Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)

Have you heard of NFTs, or non-fungible tokens? Maybe you’ve even heard the term ERC-721, which describes an open and free standard that makes it possible to create unique and non-divisible tokens on the Ethereum blockchain.
Though the ERC-721 token hasn’t been widely adopted by Apps and game developers just yet, there are many different websites where you can buy NFTs for use in various games and applications.

1) Binance

Binance is one of the world’s most prominent cryptocurrency exchanges. The site offers a large number of coins, has great security protocols, and regularly adds new coins.
Binance also charges low fees and has an excellent user interface. If you are looking to purchase a wide variety of NFTs in bulk, Binance is probably your best bet.
There is no official fee schedule available but Binance lists various taker and maker fees on its website; its maker fees range from 0% to 0.15%, while taker fees range from 0% to 0.25%.
It’s important to remember that any time you buy crypto using fiat currency (fiat/USD or fiat/EUR), you will have to pay taxes as if it were taxable income. If your country does not tax crypto yet, then don’t worry about it for now!

2) EtherDelta

EtherDelta is a decentralized exchange for trading Ethereum based tokens. It doesn’t have a mobile app, but it does provide support for hardware wallets and has relatively low trading fees.
GDAX: Global Digital Asset Exchange is an extension of Coinbase and provides much of the same functionality. It’s simple to use and has great user interface, making it a good choice for new cryptocurrency users.
Idex: Idex is another decent decentralized exchange available on web, desktop and mobile devices and supports many ERC20 tokens including OMG, ZRX, ICONOMI, VEN, KNC etc.

3) OpenSea

A marketplace for digital collectibles. All items in OpenSea are non-fungible tokens, meaning that each is one of a kind. In games such as CryptoKitties and on platforms like Ethereum Name Service, these items become tradable by virtue of their non-fungibility.
But there’s no shortage of other applications for NFTs, from ticketing systems to sports collectibles. Some websites you can buy NFT’s from are: OpenSea, Rarebits, and CryptoBots

4) RareBits

While CryptoKitties is one of many websites to buy NFT, it’s also one of few that uses Ethereum as a primary source of transactions.
RareBits is a platform built around NFTs, but includes some fungible tokens in its listings.
As an added bonus, RareBits has been steadily working to increase its size and volume since launch, which has resulted in more frequent updates and higher quality standards.

5) CryptoDerivatives.Market

CryptoDerivatives.Market is a platform to trade non-fungible tokens that you purchase with Ethereum, Ropsten and ERC721/20 based crypto tokens.
You can also trade ETH or any ERC20, Ropsten and ERC721 crypto tokens against every non-fungible token on CryptoDerivatives.Market.

6) Everdragons Marketplace

Everdragons is a blockchain game that allows users to buy and sell NFTs on its marketplace. Users can purchase dragons with ETH, which they can level up and breed using smart contracts.
Users can also collect other NFTs like in-game items or cryptocelebrities. It’s similar to CryptoKitties, but has one major advantage: You get to keep your dragon outside of the game forever.
As long as you own it, you can use it in Everdragons, exchange it for other games or cash out by selling it on Everdragons Marketplace.

7) Enjin Exchange

Enjin is a gaming company offering a range of products including Enjin Wallet, which allows you to store, manage and use your Ethereum blockchain assets easily.
Their platform is built on NFT technology and provides users with an easy way to exchange and manage ERC-721 tokens.
Enjin has made headlines recently for announcing their partnership with Unity Technologies, who are now incorporating support for ERC-721 tokens into their popular game engine!
The company even received an investment from $100 million venture capital fund Korea Investment Partners as well as a contribution of $2 million USD in ETH from Vitalik Buterin himself.

8) Gameflip

Gameflip is a marketplace for buying and selling digital goods, such as NFTs. It’s a simple marketplace where buyers can make offers to sellers on how much they’d like to pay for a certain good.
If both parties agree on a price, then an escrow contract executes and funds are transferred to sellers after they deliver their product or service.
Once digital goods are delivered, funds can be released from escrow and sent directly to sellers. In addition to NFT listings, Gameflip also includes other game-related digital assets such as in-game items or cards.

9) GamerXchange

If you’re looking to buy NFTs, then GamerXchange is your best option. This site has a huge library of digital assets and collectibles which are available for purchase.
The main thing to keep in mind with GamerXchange is that all digital assets have a limited supply – meaning there’s only so many of each you can buy.
If you want to get any specific items, check their website before purchasing any – if they say there are no more left, it’s too late!
Also, worth noting that buying from GamerXchange means giving them your ETH address; if you aren’t ready for that or don’t want to use ETH at all, it might be time to look elsewhere.

10) Decentraland Marketplace

If you’re looking to buy NFT, then one of your first stops should be Decentraland’s marketplace. You can browse through different items and view a lot of information about each item before making a purchase.
You can also contact sellers directly for more information or to make an offer. Additionally, Decentraland has a reputation system that allows buyers and sellers to rate each other.
This means that both parties are incentivized to play by fair rules while dealing with each other.
I don’t know if Decentraland will ultimately gain widespread popularity, but it is a great place to start shopping around for different NFTs!
